
Biography Overview
Before joining Paul Knopf Bigger, Brian spent over a decade defending hospitals, doctors and product manufacturers in courts throughout the state of Florida. He now utilizes that experience and insight to help the injured and victimized fight for justice.
Brian always knew his calling was the courtroom. In high school he was one of the first participating members of Nassau County’s Teen Court program. During college Brian competed with UCF’s Trial Team, and served as the Attorney General of the Student Government Association. At law school Brian competed as part of the moot court team. After graduating magna cum laude with University Honors and Honors in the Major from UCF Brian attended law school at the Duke University School of Law, where he received his J.D. cum laude.
After being admitted to the Florida Bar, Brian litigated on behalf large corporations accused of wrongdoing. He defended hospitals and doctors in medical malpractice actions, as well as administrative proceedings. Brian also spent a significant portion of his practice working on behalf of vehicle and product manufacturers. After deciding to dedicate his practice to helping injured individuals, striving to make a difference for them and pursuing just outcomes on their behalves, Brian joined PKB.
Brian enjoys the opportunity to use his experience, skills and unique acumen on behalf of his clients in their searches for recognition and equity. In his work for individuals, Brian draws on his experience litigating cases of medical malpractice, birth related injuries, wrongful death, vehicle defect, tire defect and premises liability. Additionally though, Brian draws on his experience with insurance companies and corporate defendants – how they think, and what motivates their decisions in litigation.
