Runners

We came, some ran, some walked, and most of us finished. Since 1995, Insurance Office of America has sponsored Orlando’s largest office party, also known as the Corporate 5k. While our firm has not been around for that long, it has been very important to us since the very beginning. So on April 18th, Paul Knopf Bigger was proud to be a corporate sponsor of Orlando’s IOA Corporate 5k.  Over 18,000 runners and walkers from 700 companies came together at Lake Eola downtown to complete this race, which made this the largest turn out in their 25-year history.

For the last two years, Paul Knopf Bigger employees and families participated in this great event, which brings the City of Orlando together in the common goal to end hunger in Central Florida and to ensure no child goes to bed hungry. This annual event raises funds to support the Second Harvest Food Bank and The Christian Service Center’s Love Pantry. With the incredible turn out this year, 154,000 meals were donated to the community. In addition, we were able to benefit the Track Shack Youth Foundation, which helps children and young adults run, swim, sail, horseback ride, row and attend summer camp.

Although none of us won first place, Paul Knopf Bigger thoroughly enjoyed the friendly competition and giving back to those who need it most. We continue with our mission by building our team, relationships, and the community. Every day we strive to make a difference in people’s lives, even if it requires physical hard work… like running a 5k.

At Paul Knopf Bigger, we passionately represent individuals across the country who have been seriously injured by medical malpractice, defective products, drugs, and medical devices, or the negligence of others.
